Buenas Dias!
We made it! Safe and sound with no issues. Customs was a breeze and even with some delays and sitting on the runways in the cold Midwest we arrived in Santo Domingo earlier than scheduled with Duane to greet us. (only Shelly got a hug though, ha ha)
As we write this we are sitting outside on a patio at the Ministry Center enjoying a wonderful quiet breakfast together and soon will leave for church. (just kidding, with all these crazy chickens around i don't think it will ever b quiet!!) After lunch today we will take the 6 hour drive to Pedernales, where we will be staying for the week.

They even have roosters/chickens in the city of Santa Domingo? Do they crow all night long? Get used to them! That is your new normal! Ardene
